In a confirmed deal, 7,000 t of U.S. 6900 NAR grade thermal coal has been sold at INR 18,000/t ex-Kandla (excluding cess and GST). Sellers are targeting a price of INR 18,500-19,000/t. The portside price has increased by INR 3,000-3,500/t compared to early-Sep’21. The price of 6900 NAR grade U.S. coal is currently heard at $215/t CNF Kandla.
