Amid the sharp decline in global thermal coal prices, portside prices of U.S 6900 NAR coal have corrected likewise, and are currently being traded at INR 18,500/t ex-Kandla – as against INR 23,000/t about two weeks ago. About 0.51 mn t of thermal coal is set to arrive at Kandla port between 25 Oct and 4 Nov’21, as per CoalMint vessel data.
