Indian HR plate (20-40 mm, IS 2062 Gr E250 BR) prices declined by INR 1,600/t ($18/t) w-o-w to INR 56,200/t ($618/t) on 25 Feb’26 from INR 57,800/t ($636/t) in the previous week. The correction was driven by subdued trading activity and slower demand, with buying largely restricted to requirement-based purchases. Prices are quoted ex-Mumbai for the distributor-to-dealer segment and exclude 18% GST.
