SAIL-BSP held an auction for 4,350 t of iron scrap (with recovery rate of above 90%) on 15 Nov’21. Buyers booked the total quantity at a weighted average price of INR 34,210/t exw. At the previous auction on 22 Oct, buyers booked 1,800 t at INR 39,100/t. However, the company’s management did not approve the auction on expectation of higher prices.
