- Tender sale for Tranche VI critical minerals auction ends Nov’25
- 23 blocks across 13 states feature key strategic minerals
The sale of tender documents for the sixth tranche of the critical and strategic minerals blocks auction will close on November 24, 2025, according to the mines ministry. The deadline for bid submission is December 1, 2025.
The sixth tranche of the auction, which commenced on September 23, includes 23 critical and strategic mineral blocks, comprising 19 composite licences and four mining leases. It will cover minerals such as rare earth elements, rare metals, tungsten, lithium, niobium, tin, graphite, titanium, vanadium and phosphate across 13 states.
The mines ministry recently organised a Tranche VI roadshow to share insights about the auction framework, demonstration of the e-auction platform, registration procedures, and reimbursement schemes for composite licence blocks. “The government is working to develop technologies for these critical minerals, which will benefit industries that require these critical minerals,” said Piyush Goyal, secretary, ministry of mines, in his roadshow address.
