India: Telangana Forest Department directs Nagarjuna Cement to vacate 12 acres of land

Telangana’s Forest Department has directed Nagarjuna Cement to remove alleged encroachments and vacate 12 acres and six guntas in Survey No. 88 at Mattapalli, Suryapet district, identifying the land as part of the Sultanpur Reserve Forest. The company has reportedly been given 15 days to comply, although it maintains that the land was legally purchased.
