The SAIL tender which was issued in December for purchase of 11,150 MT Ferro Silicon, which will meet the requirement of the following plants and shall be covered under Market 1 for the duration of 4 months (Jan-Apr’18):

Salem Steel Plant, Salem (SSP)
Durgapur Steel Plant, Durgapur (DSP)
Bhilai Steel Plant, Bhilai (BSP)
Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela (RSP)
IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur (ISP)
Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro (BSL)
The techno-commercial bid revealed that 8 plants had participated in the tender. The reverse auction for the tender is likely to take place in the coming month.
