Tata Tubes has reduced list prices by around INR 1,000/t ($12/t) for early-Jul’24 sales. Post-revision, effective prices for base grade ERW pipes (25-125 NB, 2.2-6 mm thickness) stand at INR 64,500/t ($773/t) ex-Jharkhand, excluding GST at 18%. Prices dropped due to decline in raw material costs, slowdown in demand and aggressive pricing from major ERW pipe competitors.
