India: Tata Steel’s DRI production, sales drop in Q3FY’22

During Q3FY’22, direct reduced iron (DRI) production by Tata Steel Long Products dropped by 13% to 185,000 t, while sales also witnessed a drop of 24% to 125,000 t, as per latest updates. According to sources, the major reason behind the drop in production and sales was the company’s planned maintenance shutdown.
