As per sources, Tata Steel’s crude steel production has witnessed a slight increment by 2% to 9.33 MnT in the fiscal FY15. In this financial year, the company has recorded the best ever production. As per JPC data analysis, company’s total crude steel production in FY14 was 9.15 MnT.
In the recently concluded fiscal, Tata Steel has also achieved its highest ever annual sales volume of 8.75 MT. In addition, the company’s hot metal production has surged by 2.73% to 10.16 MnT in FY15. The company is also a best achiever for coke production at the level of 4.27 MnT.
Tata Steel, world’s one of the largest steel producers with 29 MnT Steel capacity, is now on the anvil of opening its greenfield steel plant at Kalinganagar (Odisha), which would further ramp up its capacity.
