Tata Steel and its subsidiaries – Tata Steel Long Products and the Tinplate Company of India – have signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the steel ministry for eight product categories under the production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for specialty steel. This will enable the company to further enhance its capabilities and contribute to the government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
