After commencing despatches from Oct ’20, Tata Steel Mining Ltd (TSML) is ramping up sales of chrome ore in the domestic market. TSML has sold 15,000 t in Nov ’20 and 32,000 t in Dec ’20, and with increasing production the company is expecting to sell 40,000 t of chrome ore to domestic buyers in Jan ’21. TSML has already started ferrochrome production and sales in Dec ’20.
