Tata Steel Long Products Ltd has scheduled an auction for sale of 500 t mill scale (with moisture and oil content) from its plant at Seraikela-Kharsawan district in Jharkhand. The auction, due on 10 Jun’21, will be an Yankee type auction, SteelMint learnt from sources. Domestic mill scale prices have increased last week by up to INR 200-300/t w-o-w. SteelMint’s assessment for mill scale (Fe 70/68%) stood at INR 7,600-7,700/t, exw Raipur, on 5 Jun.
