Leading domestic manufacturer Tata Steel Long Products Ltd. conducted an auction for around 500 t of light melting scrap (LMS) and 250 t of heavy melting scrap (HMS) on 16 Dec’21 from its Jharkhand facility. Buyers booked the entire quantity of LMS at INR 31,800-32,800/t exw and HMS at INR 36,300/t exw, sources informed SteelMint.
