India: Tata Steel in talks with Haryana govt to set up steel plant

Steel major Tata Steel India held a meeting with the chief minister of Haryana, Manoharlal Khattar, to set up a steel-making unit worth INR 4,500 crore in the state, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Haryana, tweeted. After installation, the steel plant will likely provide direct jobs to 500 people and indirect jobs to 5,000 people. It may be noted that Tata Steel has recently started a scrap recycling yard in Haryana.
