Steel major Tata Steel has raised rebar prices by INR 2,000/t ($27/t) for early-Feb’22 deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. Post revision, the current price for rebar stands at INR 61,500-62,000/t ($823-830/t) exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%. Firm demand amid soaring coal and raw material prices have prompted the integrated steel producers to raise prices.
