Tata Steel and the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) signed an MoU on 31 Jan’22 to pursue technological partnership in different domains. The steel major intends to collaborate with CSIR to develop technologies in critical areas such as hydrogen, coatings and energy. Tata Steel is seeking to break new ground in steel industry decarbonisation, new materials technologies and accelerating digitalisation in manufacturing.
