Tata Metaliks has informed BSE in a recent filing that the company’s production unit will go under annual maintenance for four to seven days from 13 Aug’21, which includes one blast furnace (BF) along with associated facilities, as well as the downstream ductile iron (DI) pipe manufacturing unit at Kharagpur. While the BF will remain out of operation for four-five days, the ductile iron (DI) pipe plant will remain idle for about seven days. Operations at the BFs as well as DI pipe units are expected to resume by 24 Aug’21.
