Tata Metaliks Ltd (TML) has further reduced its basic grade (Si 1-1.5%) pig iron price by INR 1,300/t to INR 32,000/t exw. Meanwhile, foundry grade pig iron prices have remained unchanged at INR 37,000/t exw. The prices are ex-plant, Kharagpur, eastern India & are applicable for Kolkata & Howrah market. Sources reported that TML has revised prices due to a continuous drop in prices by the private plants in Durgapur. This is the company’s second price cut made in Feb’21.
