Tata Metaliks has raised pig iron prices by INR 1,500-1,700/t ($20-23/t) or 3.5% to 4%, due to higher coke prices and a sharp surge in prices by private pig iron plants, which rose by INR 1,000-1,500/t, w-o-w and up to INR 5,000/t, m-o-m.
- Offers for foundry grade pig iron are reported at INR 46,200/t, while the company’s offer for basic grade pig iron stands at INR 43,700/t. Prices are exw-Kharagpur and applicable for the Kolkata and Howrah markets.
