- Tata Metaliks has raised foundry grade pig iron prices by INR 700/t. Fresh offers are reported at INR 54,700/t. However, offers for basic grade are stable at INR 51,000/t. Prices are exw-Kharagpur, applicable for the Kolkata and Howrah markets.
- As per officials, prices rose on improving sentiments and better demand at lower offers with foundries resuming buying activities which they had stopped for a long time.
