Tata Metaliks Ltd (TML) has raised its foundry grade pig iron price by 2% i.e INR 800/t to INR 39,500/t ($538), however, its basic grade (Si 1-1.5%) pig iron prices have been kept unchanged at INR 36,700/t ($500). The prices are ex-plant, Kharagpur, eastern India & are applicable for Kolkata & Howrah market. The company has raised prices following a sharp surge in prices by the competitors due to strong demand, market sources reported to SteelMint.
