Tata Metaliks Ltd (TML) has raised its basic grade (Si 1-1.5%) pig iron price by INR 3,000/t to INR 36,700/t ($507)* exw Kharagpur, eastern India. Prior to this, the company had raised basic grade offers by about INR 1,700/t on 16th Feb’21. Meanwhile, the company’s foundry grade pig iron price has remained unaltered in today’s revision at INR 38,700/t ($534). The private pig iron producers in Durgapur have raised pig iron price by INR 4,000/t w-o-w to INR 36,000/t exw, due to supply shortage in spot market on recent export deals. *Correction, company has raised offers by INR 3,000/t & not by INR 2,300/t published earlier.
