This week steelmakers in Tamil Nadu region, booked 3000 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) in containers from Brazil origin at $ 261-265/t CFR Chennai basis. After active bookings in Jun’20 and second half of May’20, imported HMS bookings to South India region have slowed down to some extent in July’20, on account of rising prices from global origins.
