Around six ferro silicon plants in Byrnihat, Meghalaya, resumed operations yesterday after a 35-40 day suspension over pollution control violations, sources informed BigMint. While production has begun again, it may take a few days for the material to reach the market. BigMint assessed ferro silicon (Si:70%, 25-150 mm) prices at INR 99,600/t exw-Guwahati on 10 Mar’25.
