Structure offers in major Indian Cities improved this week.
Structure market in Mumbai moved up by INR 600-700/MT in this week. Prices increased because of Ingot offers that improved by INR 800/MT in a week’s time.
Raipur based Structure manufacturers as well as secondary major producers increased offers. During the week, offers jumped by INR 1,000-1,100/MT.
MSP Steels & Power Ltd increased offers by INR 500-600/MT. Today, Beam 200 mm was offered at INR 31,700/MT. MSP has capacity to produce 128,000 MT pa.
Offers in Durgapur and Ghaziabad also registered slight improvement. Both the markets increased by INR 200/MT in the week.
Structure prices in Ahmedabad also improved as Scrap prices sharply increased. Offers moved up by INR 400/MT. On Friday, 75 mm Channel was offered at INR 33,100/MT, which was offered at INR 32,700/MT earlier in the week.
Hyderabad Structure offers remained unchanged as demand was firm.
“Market will be range bound next week” market players said.

400 mm Channel at Ghaziabad: INR 34,900/MT
125 mm I-Beam at Durgapur: INR 33,450/MT
75 mm Channel at Ahmadabad: INR 33,100/MT
75 mm Channel at Mumbai: INR 35,800/MT
150 mm I-Beam at Mandi Gobindgarh: INR 35,400/MT
