Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur increased by INR 500/t d-o-d. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 51,000/t exw. However, sellers are also offering trade discounts which are hovering at INR 700-900/t. Increasing steel billet prices is a key factor behind the rise in structural steel prices, but buyers are cautious and trade enquiries and transactions are weak on high prices.
