Heavy structural steel price in Raipur – one of the major supply markets in central India, fell by INR 500/t. In the last couple of days, prices have dropped by a total of INR 1,000/t, SteelMint learned from trade sources. The current offer for 150 mm Channel stands at INR 43,000/t exw. Falling semi-finished steel prices and lack of demand for structural steel were the major factors behind drop in offers.
