India: Steelmakers book 10,000 t of HRCs from South Korea

Indian steelmakers booked 10,000 t of HRCs from South Korea at around $530-$540/t CFR India for Dec’24 deliveries. India’s overall HRC imports, as per BigMint’s vessel tracking data, touched 368,530 t on 18 Nov’24, with an additional 86,235 t expected by month-end. Previously, import volumes were substantially higher, at 687,297 t in Oct’24 and 776,835 t in Sep’24.
