Induction route steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur increased prices by INR 1,000/t to INR 55,000/t exw d-o-d, with trade discounts of INR 500/t. Continuous rise in cost of raw materials and active trading in spot market supported the price hike. Discounts via resellers are at around INR 1,000/t. Wire rod prices in Durgapur, a market that competes with Raipur, are at INR 53,000-53,200/t exw.
