An Indian steel major has raised finished flat product prices for early-Apr’26 deliveries. Hot-rolled coils (HRC) prices and cold-rolled coils (CRC) prices were raised by INR 2,500/t ($27/t), while prices of plate mill plates (PMPs) increased by INR 2,000/t ($22/t). These revisions were driven by higher raw material prices, tight material availability, and similar price hikes from competitors.
