Star Cement has partnered with JSW Green Energy Six Limited to source captive renewable power from a 47 MW solar-wind hybrid project in Maharashtra. As part of the agreement, Star Cement and its subsidiary will acquire up to a 30% equity stake in the project company. The initiative is expected to increase renewable power usage, reduce energy costs and support the company’s decarbonisation strategy.
