India: Stainless steel scrap prices surge by upto INR 3,000/t

Prices of domestic stainless steel scrap grades 304 and 316 moved up by upto INR 3,000/t ($40/t) w-o-w, as per market sources.
The effective price for stainless steel grade 316 stands at INR 248,000/t ($3,293/t) and that of grade 304 at INR 173,000/t ($2,297/t) exy-Delhi.
Robust buying from local mills led to the surge in prices.
