- Domestic stainless steel scrap (304 grade) prices decreased by INR 1,000/t ($12/t) from 10 Jan’23 to INR 133,000/t ($1,631/t) ex-Delhi today amid limited buying interest and a drop in LME nickel prices to $27,039/t.
- In contrast, stainless steel scrap 316 grade prices increased by INR 2,000/t to 238,000/t ($2,919/t) exy-Delhi due to a hike in molybdenum prices. Meanwhile, induction-grade utensil scrap prices stood at INR 69,000/t ($846/t).
