SteelMint’s assessment for domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap prices remained stable d-o-d at INR 126,000/t ($1,592/t) ex-Delhi today. There is limited buying interest for scrap at higher levels. Meanwhile, mills are not ready to lower their offers as they bought the material at high prices, a trader said. This resulted in sellers holding their offers. LME nickel three-month future prices have dropped by $1,924/t w-o-w.
