Domestic 304 grade stainless steel scrap prices fell today by INR 3,000/t ($38/t) to INR 146,000/t ($1,865/t) ex-Delhi as against prices on 21 Jun. The price of 304 grade stainless steel hot-rolled coil was recorded at INR 238,000/t ($3,040/t) ex-Mumbai. Falling nickel prices on LME drove the domestic market lower. Notably, LME nickel cash prices have fallen lower than $25,000/t on 22 Jun.
