Prices of domestic 304 grades stainless steel scrap fell by INR 10,000/t ($129/t). Export duty hike led to extreme fear in the market, fueled by decreasing nickle LME prices. Buyer remain watchful all day and no active trading recorded. The effective cash prices of 304 and 316 grades scrap are INR 155,000/t ($1,997/t) and 255,000/t ($3,286/t) exy Delhi respectively. The price of 304 grade stainless steel HRC exw-Mumbai is INR 245,000/t ($3,157/t).
