- Domestic stainless steel scrap prices for grades 304 and 316 decreased by INR 5,000/t ($66/t) and INR 4,000/t ($52/t) today. Current prices are at INR 179,000/t ($2,345/t) and INR 249,000/t ($3,262/t) respectively compared with 17 Mar’22.
- Domestic price levels are not aligned with LME prices and market participants are still vigilant for any future changes.
- LME nickel spot prices continued downtrend and stands around $28,539/t level today at the time of reporting.
