SteelMint’s assessment for 304 grade stainless steel scrap prices remained unchanged at INR 118,000/t ($1,422/t) ex-Delhi today compared to 1 Nov’22. Prices of 316 grade also remained firm at INR 208,000/t ($2,506/t). Sources informed that there have been improvement in overseas scrap market today, and demand has begun to improve. Moreover, trading in the imported market has resumed for 304 grade scrap at $1,440/t CFR Mundra.
