Spot prices of Iron ore fines Fe 63.5/63 grade have gone up to $156/tonne. The reasons could be rise in buying by Chinese Steelmakers so as to restock their inventories.
Also, China’s increased overseas deal with various steel making companies shows an improved demand for Iron ore and may be a reason for pushing up the prices.
