India: Sponge iron trade improves in Bellary, Karnataka

Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) prices in Bellary edged down by INR 100/t while CDRI prices dropped by INR 250/t on 22 Sept.

• 3,300 t PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 31,300-31,500/t exw against offers at INR 31,500/t exw.
• About 4,700 CDRI deals were confirmed at INR 32,200-32,400/t exw.
• Trade volumes have increased over the past few days on demand recovery.
