India: Sponge iron prices rise in Raipur

Pellet-based DRI (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices rose by INR 900/t to INR 34,700/t exw Raipur today, as per SteelMint assessment.

• 8,800 t of P-DRI (FeM 79-80%) deals were reported at INR 34,300-34,800/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
• Prices rise further on strong demand and rising pellet, coal and billet prices.
