India: Sponge iron prices rise further by INR 300/t in Raipur

Pellet-based DRI (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices rose by INR 300/t to INR 33,300/t exw Raipur today, as per SteelMint assessment. Producers are keeping prices high on rising raw material and billet prices amidst sufficient orders.
2,500 t of P-DRI (FeM 79-80%) deals were reported at INR 33,000-33,300/t versus offers of INR 33,300-33,500/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
