Sponge C-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 250/t on 9 Jul’21. Sponge P-DRI prices also improved by INR 200/t in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports.
- Current offers for C-DRI stand at INR 28,400-28,500/t ($381) exw.
- Around 800 t of C-DRI deals were reported by local manufacturers.
- Around 1,900 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 27,200-27,300/t against offers at INR 27,500/t exw.
- Mill owners increased prices even as demand remained low, with only a few orders in hand over the next couple of weeks.
