India: Sponge iron prices remain strong in Raipur

Pellet-based DRI (P-DRI, FeM 80%) prices rose by INR 300/t to INR 32,000/t exw Raipur today, as per SteelMint’s assessment. Prices remain strong on limited supplies in the spot market and higher coal, billet prices.

• 3,000 t of P-DRI (FeM 79-80%) deals were reported at INR 31,800-32,000/t versus offers at INR 32,000-32,200/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
