SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), dropped by INR 200/t to INR 28,800/t exw-Raipur. Even though prices corrected slightly, producers are not looking any major correction in the short term given the sufficient orders and tight deliveries in the spot market.
- About 1,000 t of P-DRI deals were reported at around INR 28,600-28,800/t versus offers of INR 28,800-29,000/t on exw and DAP basis.
