India: Sponge iron prices fall marginally in Bellary

Sponge iron P-DRI (FeM 80%) and C-DRI prices in Bellary declined by INR 100/t on 6 Jan’22.

• Around 1,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,700-30,000/t against offers at INR 30,200/t exw.
• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 30,800/t ($414/t). Around 1,100 t of deals were reported today.
