Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary fell by INR 250/t on 24 Aug’21. Sponge C-DRI prices too declined by INR 100/t in today’s trade, as per reports. Trade volumes remained limited as buyers waited for clearer market directions before taking positions.
- Around 1,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 29,000-29,100/t as against offers floated at INR 29,300-29,400/t exw–Bellary.
- Meanwhile, offers for C-DRI stand at INR 30,600/t ($412) and around 1,000 t of deals were reported.
