Sponge iron prices in Rourkela fell by INR 500/t on 11 Nov’21. SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, C-DRI (70% lumps, 30% fines), stands at INR 31,450/t.
Around 2,020 t of deals was confirmed at INR 31,400-31,800/t exw-Rourkela. Demand remained limited today, given the sluggish trends in steel billet prices which declined by INR 550/t, d-o-d.
