- Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%) and iron ore-based DRI (CDRI), prices in Bellary inched up by INR 50/t on 7 July.
- PDRI deals of 2,100 t were confirmed at INR 34,000-34,100/t and around 2,900 t of CDRI deals were reported at INR 34,300-34,550/t exw.
- Strengthening billet and coal prices remained the key factor behind the uptick in sponge iron offers. Hyderabad billet offers rose by INR 1,000/t today.
